Brief Introduction of Program:
Post Graduate Diploma in English Language Teaching (ELT) is a program for prospective and in-service school and college teachers to provide them skill development possibilities in the field of teaching English language, literature and linguistics. The focus of the program is informed by teaching and learning practices in Pakistan and the global research initiatives in the subject area. The program is, therefore, perfectly suited to prospective teachers of English who are looking for careers in Pakistan and abroad.
Certificate Requirement:
It is a one year diploma. All courses are of three credit hours each. Students study a total of 30 credit hours.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria
- Graduates holding MA English, MA English Language Teaching (ELT), MA Teaching of English as Foreign Language (TEFL) degrees or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the HEC with minimum 2nd division or 2.00 CGPA are eligible to apply.
- Applicants with additional qualifications such as a relevant post-graduate diploma or teaching experience in the relevant field will be given preference.
- Relevant level NTS test is also acceptable for admissions.
