The work environment demands a workforce that understands the modern business landscape and is able to actively participate, perform and compete with others. GIFT University’s curriculum is very focused and career oriented. We seek to sharpen the skills of our graduates in such a way that they are at home within the workplace. Thus our graduates are better equipped to deal with the ever-changing business scenario and fit seamlessly into professional careers.

The Career Development and Corporate Relationship Department (CRD) is the central point of contact and maintains close links with the corporate sector. The CRD keeps a close watch on industry requirements and seeks to help students find employment in a place that fits their skill set. The CRD is also a facilitator and students can turn to it for internship requests, job leads, career counseling, campus hiring, resume writing, interviewing skills and workshops.

Internships help students get a taste of what they can expect to face in a professional career role. Internships not only make the students feel more comfortable in their future roles, they also inspire confidence and instill them with practical work experience, even before they start their professional career.

But it does not end here, with career counseling and personal development advice, students can further enhance their career prospects and be better prepared for the job interview. Students keep in touch with CRD for job leads. The CRD also regularly organizes seminars and workshops that connect students with the industry. In short, if the corporate market is one big jigsaw, the CRD helps students find their perfect place in the jigsaw.

CEO Forum

The CEO forum is not only a great source of inspiration, it is also an avenue for helping students meet the people that they look up to and seek to emulate. GIFT University regularly invites CEOs of leading organizations to come and share their insights with our students. The CEO forum is something that our students always look forward to and they greatly value the success stories that are shared at the forum.

Professional Development Program

In order to improve the soft skills of students and help them compete in the hyper competitive job market professional development program is organized for all students graduating in the Master’s programs. This programs equips the students in identifying job leads, writing effective CVs, preparing for employment interview and perform effectively in other the selection procedures conducted by reputed organizations for hiring managerial human resource.

Industrial Projects

GIFT University greatly emphasizes on application of the concepts taught in the classes to real life situations. The University therefore offers industry focused projects in all its study programs. Students work in teams to solve specific challenges faced by the organizations. These projects sharpen the students’ abilities in applying theoretical models to practical business problems.

Industrial & Recreational Trips

Industrial trips help the students get a first-hand view of how the industry operates on a day-to-day basis. These trips give students an in-depth view of the business environment and help them interact and learn from professionals in the field. Recreational trips are a great way to take a break from the study routine, enjoy and learn more about Pakistan, its culture and history.

Students acquire first hand flavor of dynamics of practical business and compare it with their academic knowledge during industrial trips. These trips are source of information and inspiration for students and we give them flavor of National and International Trip.
