Program Description:
This program focusses the learning of Islamic thought, history and civilization. The importance and need of this discipline in an ideological country of Pakistan, goes without saying. The aim is to make student understand Islam consciously, with mindful efforts. GIFT’s BS degree programs in the long-run will lead students to peruse their higher learning in different disciplines of social sciences. This program is designed to prepare graduates in the disciplines of Islamic educational and organizational sociology in contemporary perspective, thus fostering community development; to make possible achieving the national goals of progressive and sustainable society.
Program Objectives
- To prepare young scholars for better learning at graduate and post graduate levels in the discipline of Islamic thought and culture, history and civilization.
- To improve academic standard in this region through the generation, assimilation and dissemination of knowledge about religion, culture and the whole social fabric of the society.
- To make a significant and meaning-full contribution towards the educational and social betterment of Pakistan through development of the human resources.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria
- 12 years education with FA / FSc securing minimum second division (in annual system).
- Minimum 45% or equivalent marks in intermediate or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant level NTS test is also acceptable for admissions.
