A meeting of the Board of Advanced Studies & Research (BASR) was held on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at GIFT University, Gujranwala. The meeting was chaired by the Rector, GIFT University, Prof. Dr. Shahid Qureshi in the presence of external and internal experts. Moreover, Mr. Muhammad Anwar Dar, Chairman Board of Governors specially participated in the meeting to urge the faculty to pursue applied research, in line with the University’s vision – Converting Knowledge into Practical Experience. The external experts Prof. Dr. Waseem Anwar, Professor of English & Director – International Center for Pakistani Writing in English, Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore and Dr. Naumana Amjad, Professor and Dean, Social Sciences NUR International University Lahore, appreciated the diligent efforts of GIFT University in promotion of quality Education and Research.
