INTRODUCTION

GIFT University established the Corporate and International Relations Office (CIRO) as a central administration point to develop the international linkages, global partnerships and collaborations and international exposures for GIFT folks. To date, students from different schools have got the academic and cultural orientation of leading international destinations, including the USA, United Kingdom, Russia, Turkey, UAE and many more.

The Corporate and International Relations Office, GIFT University is the central point of coordination and administration of all the procedures related to University's international collaborations and partnerships. It works with all the departments to develop their international agenda, which includes partnership agreements, scholarship opportunities, information on student exchanges, participation in visits and profile upgrading.

 

AGENDA

The Corporate and International Relations Office, GIFT University is always actively engaged in international collaborative activities with partner universities both physically and virtually in terms of students and faculty exchange programs with the following agendas:

  • Short-term student and faculty exchange program.
  • Administration and research exchange program.
  • Cultural exchange program including various languages and cultural activities.
  • Webinars and seminars.
  • Corporate and social internships.
  • Workshops and trainings for students and employees.
  • Professional and youth development programs.
  • Joint training, research and development.
  • Joint dialogue series and panel discussions.

GIFT UNIVERSITY'S INTERNATIONAL ALLIANCES

GIFT University adheres to conform to quality education and research standards, achieving sustainable development goals, and CIRO, as a prerequisite, collaborates with international universities across the world. Team CIRO is actively developing academic and research collaborations in the United Kingdom, Russia, Turkey and creates long-term partnerships outside of Europe.

GIFT University welcomed international universities and joint together to achieve its mission by the signation of the MOUs to promote student semester exchange programmes, research and project development, exchange of resident and non-resident faculty members, and capacity building related to the educational, academic, cultural and scientific matters.

Saima Aziz as Deputy Director Corporate and International Relations Office, provides leadership and oversight for all University international and internationalisation initiatives, with a particular focus on activities and partnerships of university-wide strategic importance that support and enhance the University’s growth objectives. With a master’s degree in Education from UK, she has considerable experience in teaching and management, in Pakistan and UK.

Arooj Sikander is currently working as Assistant Manager in Corporate and International Relations Office, GIFT University. She has done MPhil Management Sciences from GIFT University. She has been giving tremendous services for the last 4 years. She has played a very vital role in the establishment and development of the office. Her core job is to give the students global horizon by arranging international boot camps with partner universities. She is also arranging internships, cultural exchange programs both physical and virtual.

Mr. Junaid Amjad is working as Assistant Manager in Corporate and International Relations Office at GIFT University. He pursued his master’s degree in Management and International Business from Birmingham City University, United Kingdom. He is responsible for and actively manages documentation process for all the faculty and student exchange programs, seminars, webinars, etc. Junaid promotes GIFT University at key events, working with partners by international marketing. Moreover, Junaid is also responsible for managing the University incoming exchange factsheets, faculty exchange, training, research and development programs.
