    Perspective:
    The textile business and production is taking new shapes both in terms of operations and working environment. Students who want to graduate in field of textile engineering or management should be well prepared to work in an international environment. In this dynamic branch of trade it is not only running of machines on the shop floor that matters, but the managerial skills are becoming more important.
    The production facilities are now often situated far from the consumer markets. Therefore, textile studies should be commercial and business-oriented. International purchasing and sales activities are becoming an important part of the textile graduates job responsibilities. Therefore, management components are an important part of the studies now.
    Objective:
    This course aims at providing expertise in all functional areas with the knowledge, skills and tools needed to lead, compete and win in today’s globalize economy.Upon graduation, the student is expected to have skills in both technology and management and be prepared for work in management functions in all areas at a textile related company.
    Comprehensive, contemporary and multidisciplinary designed curriculum is covering collective inputs in textiles, apparel manufacturing and various functional areas of management.
    The students are expected to be prepared for qualified tasks at the advanced level within the textile business world, in product development as well as in manufacturing, trade and logistics. The student is expected to have an overall picture of the textile value chain with a specialization in development, innovation and leadership.
