The goal of the four-year program leading to B.Sc. (Hons) degree is to prepare the students in the versatile areas of Accounting & Finance. The program accomplishes this task by offering a broad range of course work, emphasizing and developing critical skills in the students and providing students with real work experience through social work, real time projects and internships. Technology, ethics, e-business, management techniques, critical thinking, problem solving, research methods and statistical analysis are the main components of the curriculum.

Program Description
The Accounting major focuses on the processes for analyzing and reporting the economic activities of the organizations and communicating that information to decision makers. The accounting curriculum includes studies in managerial accounting, budgeting, accounting systems, internal controls, financial analysis, financial reporting, internal and external auditing, taxation, international accounting, and accounting issues related to for-profit, not-for-profit, and government organizations.
The Finance major emphasizes fundamental finance concepts, theories, and practices to promote well-informed financial decision-making. Additional components concentrate on managerial finance, investment fundamentals and financial risk management. Students will integrate advanced topics in financial management through real-world business applications.
