Program Description
Informatics studies the interaction of information with individuals and organizations, as well as the fundamentals of computation and computability, and the software and hardware technologies used to store, process and communicate digitized information.
This program is designed to produce graduates with sound IT skills with hands-on experience with programming, database design, communication network and emerging mobile technologies. Focus of this program is on design and deployment of information technology solutions in businesses and other enterprises to increase productivity.
After completion of the program requirements, students will receive M.Sc. Informatics degree. Graduates from this program will be able to work as Software Engineer, Information Architect, Systems Analyst, Management consultant, Database Designer, Web developer, System/Network Administrator, and Mobile Application Developer.
This program offers specializations in Web Technologies, Multimedia Technologies Communication Networks and Mobile Applications.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor degree with 14 years of education from any HEC recognized university. Preference will be given to the students who have mathematics or statistics background.
