    Program Description:

    The Master of Business Administration program has been tailored to prepare our graduates for positions of leadership in business, industry and government. Its curriculum has been developed to provide a broader understanding of all business functions. The emphasis is on practical orientation and career oriented learning. The GIFT MBA integrates the contemporary management theory with best business practices to enable our graduates to lead people and effectively manage resources in today’s hyper competitive marketplace

    A broad mix of teaching methodologies is employed to develop the needed skills in our graduates. These include: formal lectures, case studies, group discussions, team and individual assignments/presentations, industry visits, seminars and workshops from renowned academics and professionals, internships, and MBA project.

    It is a 3-year MBA program. However, students who wish to join the job market early can obtain a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) after completing requirements of the first 2-years of study

  • MBA Concentrations:

    GIFT MBA is a flexible program which allows the students to tailor their degrees as per their own interests. The University offers 4 areas of concentration to choose from. The students choose anyone area of concentration according to their own career aspirations. The concentrations offered are follows:

    Project Work:

    Project work is a cornerstone of GIFT MBA Program and plays an important role in the learning process.

    As a part of the MBA Program, students work in teams to develop feasibility plans for new businesses or solve a major real life management problem. The objectives of this project work are to enhance the practical side of the learning process, to internalize managerial concepts, and to develop creative and applicable solutions.

    Applying recently-acquired management concepts and skills, students conduct the project in several stages with the ultimate goal of providing an applicable solution to real world problems.

    Eligibility:

    Candidates who wish to enrol in MBA 3-Years Program must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree from HEC recognized institution with minimum 14 years of education. The student must have attained at least 45% marks in his bachelor’s examination. The commonly accepted degree programs are;

  • BCom / BA / BSc or equivalent
  • Admissions:

    Admission to the MBA program is offered on the basis of qualitative and quantitative assessment of the factors which are important for successful graduate study. The factors which are considered in the admission decision include: prior academic performance, scores from the GIFT Comprehensive Admissions Test (GCAT); and performance in the admissions interview.
