Program Description
MA (Fine Art) Program addresses the utmost need of particularly art education at postgraduate level in the region. Its establishment underpins the fact that aesthetic disciplines are as essential for the civilized life of people as scientific and intellectual education; that 'Making' is no less than 'Learning' and 'Doing'. A willful neglect of our artistic heritage and a gradually developed indifference to our national context and physical environment destroys our sense of belonging to our land and makes it alien to us.
Believing that this program will open up new facets of art education, aesthetics, our artistic heritage particularly in the region and nationwide in general. There is an impression that Fine Art education is promoting values and artifacts that are against Islamic values. This program aims to fabricate artists who will have complete and comprehensive knowledge of Islamic, social and cultural values.
