GIFT University Gujranwala offers a blend of learning, amusement and integration of enduring principles. As a Computer Science student it provided a wide arena of the field and thus I got to learn something new with every subject. The entire study environment makes it easy for a student to learn and inculcate the spirit to stand out amongst the talented and hard-working students. What amazed me was the plethora of extracurricular activities that the Institute offered hence compelling every student to explore and pursue his/her extra talents. The Institute managed both the areas extremely well and a student always finds himself in a pool of never ending opportunities, be it technical or non-technical.

Another feather in the cap was the professors that impart quality education to its students. Never can a student find himself lost in a concept and professors not being able to rescue him.  The Institute's library and IT labs serves as the ultimate answer to all our queries in terms of no. of books, papers, periodicals and helping staff. The infrastructure of the university speaks for itself.

The Career Development Office at GIFT University has helped me to be in touch with the current IT market situation and has helped me to be got a place in one of the renowned Software House (Netsol Technologies) of Pakistan IT Industry.

Enrolling in the Golden Triangle’s hallmark GIFT University was my first and the foremost choice, for it supersedes the rest with its competent faculty, well developed infrastructure and up to date academic programs. Mr. Mohammad Shakeel, a great visionary and our HOD made us aware at the very start of the market need for the proficient CS graduates. I witnessed it when I received multiple job offers during my final year. I found faculty to be passionate about their relevant disciplines and always approachable. I was able to grasp the complicated concepts in first go. However, I did consulted internet to stay ahead of the competition which explains why I outshone the rest by securing full fee waiver in each semester and gold medal in finals!

GIFT university went a mile more by grooming their graduates not only in traditional job seeking skills but also in entrepreneurship. Our Rector, Dr. Qaisar Durrani encouraged active participation of students in university societies to unearth their hidden potential and Mr. Usman Naeem (Head of GIFT Event Management Society) left no stone unturned in making students better event managers. I found managerial staff courteous and supportive ensuring that maximum opportunities like internships, fellowships, competitions are made available for the graduates so they can build their portfolio. At the end of the day, life has its own criterion to choose winners and losers. Remember it's not how many ideas you have, it's how many you make happen that matters.

The Social Integration Program-previously known as the Social Internship Program (SIP) of the GIFT University Gujranwala emphasizes the value of service with others, rather than the commonly accepted concept of service to others. The goal is to create "better communities" in the Region by encouraging students to serve their communities. The program also aims to promote active citizenship by making social action a fundamental part of every student’s life. The program is currently conceived as 1 credit hour program for all undergraduate associate degree programs students. This program establishes its linkage with our National Education Policy-2009 that recognizes the community services as “Social Sector Industry” and is aligned with the HEC’s Social Integration Outreach Program.
