Selection for NTS is based purely on merit. The overriding criteria are talent and financial need of the student. The detailed criteria include:
Minimum 75% marks in the Bachelor's degree for entry into MBA, MSc Accounting and Finance and MIT programs and 60% marks for entry into MA English Language and Literature program.
For scholarships at the undergraduate level, the minimum requirement is 75% or its equivalent in the Intermediate examination.
